The 1999 year end statistics are in!

Remember: These statistics are for residential properties only! Also, some prices were reported a $1, therefore are not included in this report.

The first chart shows that the Park, City and Farms experienced an increase in the number of homes sold from 1998 to 1999. However, there were fewer homes sold in 1999 than in 1998 in the Woods and Shores.

In all, 794 homes were sold and closed in 1999 in the Grosse Pointes. More homes were sold and closed in 1998...815 in total.

The second chart refers to average prices in each of the Grosse Pointes. From 1998 to 1999, the Park experienced a 8.35% increase in sold prices; the City was up 7.27%; the Farms was up 8.9%; the Woods up 9.13% and the Shores up 9.2%.
